I mean, I LOOOOOOVE fall.
I love the crunchy leaves rustling.
I love the brisk breeze.
I love sweaters.
I love my fall coat.
I love how I don't have to worry what my legs look like, what my toes look like.
I love sweaters with autumn colors.
I love snuggling under a bulky comforter.
I love the smell of the earth when the grass has faded and the humidity drops.
I love mulled apple cider.
I love that I can open the windows when I want (like when I test the heat for the first time...pew!!)
And most of all- I love apple picking! On Sunday I met Marcey and Asa for a well-deserved day of play, driving to Big Apple Farm in Wrentham, MA.
It was your typical New England scene of apple-related hysteria...crowded but full of interesting apple-related artifacts. For example,an apple vending machine...
An antique peanut roaster
And a complete surprise... Boiled Peanuts!! I thought these were a Southern-only food!
We also saw how the apples were washed...
And polished...
And sorted...
And I got a bag of my FAVORITE apples.
We also found out that there are no ATM's in Wrentham. Marcey must have driven to 4 of them before we finally found one that worked so we could buy our apples, apple donuts and gourds for Marcey's kids to draw. A great day. I love fall!

If you find any, enjoy a Macoun apple for me! I love them, and they don't exist out here.
