The...um... Charlotte Snowpark!
Charlotte doesn't get a lot of snow. So far, Charlotte's gotten virtually NO snow. So every year they bring in some snow to the South Park Mall for the curious. Or rather... ice. A mountain of ice. But it was 45 degrees, they loved it, and I heard folks even clarifying that this isn't quite like a real ski resort. I had to laugh.

They do this in San Diego too. There's even a company which will spray your yard full of snow for kids' parties, etc. Instead of Chuck E. Cheese, think Chuckie Slush!
ReplyDeleteSlush is right- the grass nearby was sopping wet. I wonder how long the average "slope" lasted.
