Back to Basics

Another day, another city... I moved all my stuff out of Brockton this weekend into a storage container and stayed the weekend with mom and dad, and Grandma!  12 hours after I landed back in Charlotte I was driving to Jacksonville, Florida for another boiler inspection.  I'll be here for another week or so.  It's great to have a break from the crazy with something familiar... even if it's still a little crazy.  This is the 7th outage I've done here in Florida, plus one in PA.

This outage I've got a new trainee, Halle, who is working nights from 6pm - 7am.  I'm doing a swing shift from 11am - 1am.  Greg, my manager is working 7am - 6pm.  It's working out really well.  Halle's a natural and the guys are treating her well.  More stories as they come up, but for now, be safe, and don't pee on the walls!

  1. Hmm... don't think I've ever encountered that particular piece of advice before! But I'll bear it in mind!

While I'm here, wanted to tell you that I heard last week that charitable Haiti donations now exceed ONE BILLION DOLLARS! How about that?
