I don't have posting abilities here at work, and honestly, by the time I get home the laptop is the last thing I want to be looking at... but I feel remiss not replying to some of Kate's questions, so here we go:

I know!  But it's still freaking cute.  My favorite part is pushing the first kitten aside.  It just sits there.  :)

There once was a gal from Nantucket (wait for it...)
Who brought home some corn in a bucket
She went 'round the bend,
To look for her friend
And together they sat down to shuck it. 

Pottery Update!: 

Actually you make the lid at the same time as the bottom, measuring to make sure the lip sits inside the cup.  I will admit to some cheating however...sandpaper is a wonderful thing.
