A fun filled Christmas!

As if a vacation wasn't travel enough, this Christmas was full of more travel.  It was worth every second- I got to E & M & Asa in Attleboro to enjoy their wonderful company.  Then off to the mall for some Christmas Eve stocking stuffers, and a bra to replace those currently being enjoyed in the Caribbean... and then to Kate's in-laws in Thompson, CT for their Christmas Eve festivities.  They had fun playing with the prism glasses that turned Christmas lights into different shapes.

A quick stop in Sterling to pick up presents from my uncle's family, then off to Hampton for the night.

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care
After Dad-Pancakes...
Dad Pancakes!!
...I planned a little scavenger hunt for my parents.  Each clue was a limerick they had to solve.  I wasn't sure how they'd take it, but it seemed to go over really well.
Challenge 1:  Blindfolded sock-matching!

Challenge 2:  Food Challenge!  (Pickle juice and baker's chocolate...pinkys up!)

Clue 3 was behind a tree!

The last clue in a mailbox...

...which led us under the sofa!! Presents found!
After they introduced themselves to their matching iTouches, Brendan and his girlfriend, Karyn arrived.  I put them through the same challenge to get Brendan's last present.

Grandma gave all us kids matching pajama pants...actually, this picture reminds me of another picture......

(Some holiday pics turn out better than others)
After a long day of presents and treasure hunts, we hung out after dinner and just....hung out.  Like siblings.  It was nice.  It doesn't get to happen very often.

I got to see Grandma the day after Christmas quickly, before running north ahead of the snowstorm.  I wish I could've stayed longer, but the weathermen scared me off.  Sorry, Horn Family!!

More pics are found here.  Enjoy & download at will.  Merry Christmas!!
