Bring Your Chinchilla to Work Day

On my last day at work, I decided to give my coworkers a little treat.  A little, fuzzy, feisty treat.

Needless to say it was a bit of a surprise, but I have them hints throughout the week that they'd probably get to meet my Chou.  It took her a bit of convincing to get her out of her box after her 12 minute walk alongside the morning traffic (I had to remove the inner box and literally shake it upside down).  Chou, to her credit, was perfect.  She didn't make hardly a peep all morning and tolerated the walk around the office for a fun hour of surprise show and tell when I'm sure she'd rather be sleeping.  Yes, she slid off of Benton's shoulder and scampered into David's cubicle, but I can't blame her for Benton's expensive taste in shirts.  ;-)

Hurray for Chou- nature's engineer.  :)
