My time here is done, so as I deploy

I write you this poem for you to enjoy.

I came here to Salem two years ago, May,

And I met lots of people who I leave with dismay.

Pete’s tired, sad smile, Ed’s wide stocky grin

Kevin’s wine from his basement, Fred’s hot sauce, a win!

Jerry always comes by to harass Neil and Bob

They sigh and they take it…Cuz at least it’s not Rob.

To Sully and Art: Your gas is extreme

One silent but deadly.  The other… obscene.

Mr. Harrow keeps track of the finest details

His meetings are “Short” (If on glacial scales)

Dan S., Greg and Beth

Wayne’s Sleeper 2000 can relieve you of stress.

Justin says he’s too busy (but he does it nonetheless.)

The HPO’s daily… Eh, a useful pursuit…

Some more so than others…But Miledy brings fruit!

And good Charlie Matczak, his facts …are unique.

Girard’s cause suspicion; always said tongue in cheek.

Lou, Charlie, Rich, Wally, Dan G.

The donuts each morning nearly gave me a stroke.

But the stairs solved all that...Number 3’s always broke.

Darcey Rizzo is sweet.  Blackie’s jokes are a hoot.

But don’t piss off Liane- she’ll give you the boot!

I’ll miss wearing hard hats. And comfortable shoes.

Jeans and t-shirts each day…The pranks that amuse.

So to Mick and to Fitzy, Lou, Greg and A. Sload,

I thank you immensely for the time you bestowed

On this new girl from corporate who’d never really seen pipe,

Or heard such bad language!  Boy did I learn to gripe!

So it’s with smiles and sadness, and handshakes and such

That I wish you all well.  Please do keep in touch.
