I'll repeat the commentary of just everyone in the Northeast this morning... it's EFFING COLD. As I type it's -6 degrees outside. NEGATIVE 6. At 9am!! My car did NOT want to start this morning, and it was still blowing cold air 20 minutes later. I haven't seen cold like this in ages, and I'm thankful to have heat. The walk from the parking lot to the office was brutal tho... we have a wind tunnel in our path and I don't want to even consider the windchill.
Thank goodness I made myself a new HAT this weekend!! Matching scarf is in progress. :)
Here are a couple pics from the plant this morning. We got a nice fog layer at minus 6, and the steam coming out of the stack (normally invisible) wasted no time condensing into a billowy fluff.
Oh, that's a bell buoy out there?...for one awful moment, I thought it was a water skier!!! I'm sorry you're cold... you can come here and get warm!
