This past weekend was "girls' night at Jen's house" in honor of Grandma's 83rd birthday. The saucy old bird is doing great, and I was thrilled she could make it up! It was an estrogen-filled fiesta, and Dad got a nice 36-hour vacation from the Horn family drama. :)
I had hoped the weather would cooperate on Sunday, but sadly, it didn't. So no walks along the rocky shores for us... although mom insisted on collecting some rocks. Instead we ate, ate, and ate some more. I gained 10 pounds in 2 days, I'm sure. No more eating until after my brother gets married in August!
